As SS Music earlier reported the makers of Vastha Nee Venuka hit out against Amala Paul for not revealing her wedding plans and hence putting their film in jeopardy. The actress has however hit out against the allegations releasing a official press statement

"This company had approached me earlier in the year for my dates and sounded very optimistic  on commencing the shoot from March, the testimonial evidence to this was the agreement which was mutually signed .  I had allotted 45 days from my schedule spanning up to three months from march to May .As the shooting days neared we called up from our side to know the exact schedule . The response was evasive , and we were not able to plan".

"Again considering the normal working procedure of the industry I  tried my best to accommodate them into my scheme of work . The response to this gesture of mine was again dodgy .  It is a basic procedure to collect the passport of any artiste and her staff  much in time to clear the visa procedures. In this case the passports of my assistants were not collected at all .This was an ample testimony to the fact that they were not serious on their professional commitment".

"To add insult to the injury now they allege that i had not intimated them on my wedding . Why would I? , if the shooting is scheduled to start on march and conclude by May , considering the fact that my wedding is only on June .Concealing their inability to shoot in the prescribed time ,They shift the entire focus on my wedding and  accuse me saying that i had not declared my wedding plans to them. Any body and everybody can understand my position here and also their baseless allegations".

"I hope better sense prevail upon them that Wedding of any individual is a life time event and any sort of mud slinging done on this factor covering up their in adequacy is very painful . I had been an absolute professional in my career and i would always prefer to be the same .This clarification is for the noble hearts who knew my professionalism".

It all started when Amala Paul was signed by Vijay for his 'Dheivathirumagal', they were then seen getting snapped together at the airport, attending social events together , Amala Paul being ever present at 'Thandavam' shooting spots, there even some reports of Vijay gifting an expensive apartment to Amala Paul, Rumors after rumors have linked Amala Paul with A.L Vijay but the director and the actress have been totally denying it.

Amala Paul gets angry over the question of Sridivya

 
Despite their public postures, it is a known fact that actresses aren’t comfortable when their contemporaries are praised in their presence.
The actresses also can’t withstand when questions are hurled at them by the scribes asking them as to whether ‘x’ or ‘y’ actress had taken their place. Exactly this happened at the press meet of Velaiyilla Pattathari with Amala Paul.
Amala Paul, who plays the heroine in the film opposite Dhanush, has been paired up opposite the national-award winning actor for the first time. The film has been directed by debutant Velraj, the cinematographer who has turned director. Velraj was the cinematographer in Vetrimaran’s Aadukalam which won a few national awards. Anirudh Ravichander has scored the film’s music.
The proceedings were going on smoothly when a scribe, out of the blue, asked Amala Paul if she believed that Sridivya had taken her place in the industry (Kollywood).
Apparently irked by the question, Amala evaded giving a direct reply to the question and said that it would be better if the scribes asked questions only about the making of Valaiyilla Pattathari.
She said that she won’t be sitting there if questions are asked comparing her with other actresses.
Amala Paul, who pairs up opposite ‘Jayam’ Ravi in Samuthirakani’s Nimirndhu Nil, hopes that the Dhanush and ‘Jayam’ Ravi films would help her find a strong foothold in Tamil especially after the super-debacle of her last Tamil film in Thalaivaa opposite Vijay.
