This Director Says Directing Kamal Haasan movie was a Bad experience

Like many other Kamal Haasan's movie, Anbe Sivam gained a cult following after the film
bombed at the box office. Fans and critics now appreciate the masterpiece the film was, But in a recent media interaction Director Sundar.C said the movie was entirely a bad experience.

The veteran director went on to explain that the film's producer did not pay him the salary which was promised to him and hence had to sell his properties to settle the income tax dues. Sundar.C has saved his career after back to back blockbusters in Kalakalappu and Theeya Velai Seyannum Kumaru.
