Actress Meera Jasmine who hails from Kerala is one of the popular actresses of Tamil and Malayalam film industries. She has acted in numerous Tamil films including Run and Sandakozhi.
She is currently acting in a Tamil film titled Vingyani and in a Malayalam film. There were rumours earlier that she was in love with mandolin exponent Rajesh and will be getting married to him.
At this juncture, she has announced that she will be getting married to a Dubai based software engineer Anil John Titus on 12th of this month. She has also mentioned that this was an arranged marriage.
Before the official wedding ceremony which was to be performed at a church in Thiruvananthapuram on 12 February, Ernakulum Sub Registrar registered the marriage at Meera Jasmine’s residence -Vaibhavam- in Ilamkulam, Chilavannur. Both of them signed in the marriage register and exchanged garlands. Close relatives participated in this function.
The relatives mentioned that the marriage will take place on 12th as announced earlier. The reception will take place at 13.00 hours.
It is understood that Meera Jasmine will act in the films after her marriage. Anil John Titus, who hails from Thiruvananthapuram, is a B Tech graduate from IIT Madras and is based in Dubai.
