Nic Arts Chakravarthy the producer of STR's Vaalu had reportedly filed a complaint on Hansika stating the
actress was not allotting dates for his film, the completion of which
depended on her co-operation. He claimed that the actress had said that
the earliest dates she could allot for the film was in either May or
June.
However,
a source close to Hansika denies these allegations to The Times of India. The source says Hansika had allotted dates for the film several times, which were wasted by the team, and that if the producers of Vaalu needed dates on a priority basis, they would have to speak to the producers of her other films, to which she had already committed.

The source elaborates, "Hansika has submitted the complete details of her current projects and the dates on which she will be shooting for them. In fact, all her producers know her call sheet
schedules. She had allotted dates for Vaalu nine times in two years,
and her dates were not utilized properly then. Two weeks ago, she had
given them dates from May 11 to 20, and had also informed them that her
diary was choc-a-block till July and that she had scheduled all shoots
four months in advance."
The source further adds, "All films
are equally important to Hansika, and she wants to complete them
without any hassles. If the producers of Vaalu want dates in a
particular month, they can speak with the producers of other films and
sort out the issue. She is ready to cooperate and complete her part."
